What is Seam Welding ?
Seam welding is a welding process that is often used in the manufacturing industry, especially when it comes to creating longer weld seams on thin metal sheets.
It is similar to spot welding, but instead of individual spots, a continuous weld seam is created.
This is done by creating an electrical resistance between the workpieces to be joined as they are passed between two rotating electrodes.
The heat generated by the electrical resistance melts the workpieces and joins them together.
